Hi I'm Dan, the founder of Toolsdown.

In 2009 whilst working onsite building timber framed houses and completely frustrated being unable to find a replacement battery for my Paslode nail gun, I realised that there was a shortage of products available online and for a reasonable price.

This was the start of Toolsdown...

I started out of my garden shed, ploughing my life savings into stock and packing parcels in my spare time whilst still working a full-time job, around a year later I'd moved from the shed to Toolsdown's first warehouse.

We primarily focussed on selling power tools for the DIY market but as the years have progressed, so has our offering.

Over the years we've sold over 100,000 products through our Amazon and eBay stores but with the launch of toolsdown.co.uk in 2021 we want to bring our great range of products directly to you.

Toolsdown.co.uk provides tools to the electrical and plumbing trades, with a passion for helping other small business’s and inventors get their products to the market.
